I heard about Carol Popp and her training barn purely by accident. I emailed and then spoke with her about whether she would be willing to work with me. I have ridden western for years, but have never had real basic training. I have been taking lessons twice a week for five or six months now. Carol is a wonderful teacher. She is patient with me. She is funny and fun. Her lessons focus on how the horse moves and the best way to cue him. I love my lessons. Plus, she takes wonderful care of the horses in her barn. If I owned a horse, i would definitely try to get a stall in her stable. Five stars and more.
